DVP Paint Correction LLC(“DVP”, “we”, “us”) provides mobile paint correction, ceramic coating, scratch and chip repair and headlight restoration for cars, motorcycles, boats and RVs across Orlando and Central Florida. This page explains what information we receive when you visit this website or contact us about a service, and what we do with it.
Information we collect
This website does not require you to create an account.
We only receive the details you choose to share with us when you get in touch by phone, text or email, or when you request a quote through the form on this site. Typically that is:
- your name;
- your phone number and email address;
- the address where the vehicle will be serviced;
- the year, make, model and color of the vehicle, and its current condition;
- photos of the vehicle that you send us so we can quote accurately;
- the IP address and date on which you submitted the form, which we keep as a record that you gave consent to be contacted.
When you request a quote through the form on this site, it is sent directly to us by email — we do not use a third-party form service for that. If you book an appointment through the online booking link on this site, that booking is handled by Smarfle, our third-party scheduling provider, and the details you enter there are processed under Smarfle's own privacy policy.
The quote form also records the two separate text-message consents you choose — one for service texts, one for promotional texts — as described in our SMS Policy.
How we use your information
We use what you share with us to:
- answer your questions and prepare a quote;
- schedule, perform and follow up on your service;
- reach you about your request or your appointment, including if we need to move a time slot because of weather;
- keep a record of the work performed on your vehicle, which matters for ceramic coating maintenance and for any follow-up visit;
- measure how well our advertising works, as described in “Cookies, analytics and advertising” below.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making. The contact details you give us when you request a quote are not uploaded to advertising platforms as a customer list.
Photos of your vehicle
We photograph vehicles before and after work as a normal part of quality control, and we sometimes publish before-and-after photos on this website or on our social media. We exclude license plates and anything else that identifies you or the location. If you would rather we did not publish photos of your vehicle at all, tell us — before or after the appointment — and we will keep them internal.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information for money. We share it only with:
- service providers who help us run the business — for example our phone, email or scheduling providers — and only with what they need to provide that service;
- the analytics and advertising platforms described in “Cookies, analytics and advertising” below, which receive information about your visit to this site — not the contact details you send us by phone or email;
- anyone you ask us to share it with, such as a dealership or a body shop working on the same vehicle;
- authorities, where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
This site uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are needed for the site to work; the rest help us understand how the site is used and measure our advertising.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to see how people find and use this site — which pages they open, how long they stay, roughly what area they are in. This is reported to us in aggregate and does not tell us who you are.
We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products/services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products/services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimization, fraud/security purposes, and advertising. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, visit the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
A cookie we set ourselves. This site also sets a first-party cookie called dvp_attr, which is not shared with anyone. It remembers which link brought you here — for example a search result, a social post, or one of the short links on our business cards and yard signs — for 90 days, so that if you request a quote days later we know which of our own marketing actually worked. It holds the tag values from that link (source, medium, campaign, and, for ads, the ad set and ad name), the page you landed on, the site that referred you if there was one, the date, and — once you have accepted analytics cookies in our cookie banner — the ad click id from Google or Meta. If an ad click id was present but you declined, we store only a note that it was not kept. Nothing else. We set it either way, including if you decline or send a Global Privacy Control signal, because it is functional rather than advertising — it answers “which of our own links did you follow”, not anything about you personally.
Advertising. We advertise this business on Facebook and Instagram, and we use the Meta Pixel they provide to see which ads lead to real quote requests and to build an audience of people who have already visited this site. We are not currently running Google Ads.
These tools set cookies in your browser and send Google and Meta information about your visit, such as the pages you opened and whether you called or submitted a request. Google and Meta process that data under their own privacy policies: Google and Meta.
We do not sell your personal information for money.Some state privacy laws define “sale” or “sharing” broadly enough to cover the use of advertising cookies described above. If you would rather that did not happen, you can turn those cookies off using the options below and we will not use your visit for advertising.
Your choices:
- block or delete cookies in your browser settings — every major browser can do this per site;
- install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on;
- adjust what Google can use for ad personalization at My Ad Center;
- adjust ad preferences on Facebook and Instagram in your account's ad settings;
- send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser — we honor it, and treat it as an opt-out of advertising cookies.
Data retention and security
We keep your information only as long as we need it to provide the service, to honor a coating warranty or a follow-up visit, and to meet our tax and legal obligations. We take reasonable measures to protect it, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
You can ask us to review, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email info@dvppaintcorrection.com or call (407) 813-8422 and we will take care of it. If you have asked us to stop contacting you, we will keep the minimum record needed to honor that request.
Children
Our services are intended for adults. This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last changed at the top.
